LOVE SEAWEED WORKSHOPS
Saturday 30 March, Perth 10-12noon (sold out)
Saturday 13 April, Steeple Studios Newburgh, Fife 1-3.30pm
Monday 6 May, Steeple Studios Newburgh, Fife 1-3.30pm
Join me to discover how to work creatively with seaweed. We’ll look at fresh samples but as processes take time I’ll have some already prepared to work with as well. We will learn how best to prepare them - drying pressing sealing. Then we can try different ways to enhance a piece eg with paint or varnish and use the samples on their own or combine with other beach finds. We will make postcard sized artworks such mounted collage, greeting cards, mini concertina books or framed under glass piece using Scottish seaweed. It’s about experimenting and playing! No experience required and materials provided. This workshop is not recommended if you have seafood allergies. Workshop £30.
